I have written about this so many times, but really, Can we please stop funding abortion.
State Budgets
Federal tax money is still flowing to Planned Parenthood by the multiplied millions of dollars. They basically “launder” the money back to the politicians, in many cases. It is easy to follow the money to politicians, including NH’s US Senator Jeanne Shaheen. We should always expose the bloody ties that bind politicians and abortion.
State budgets are also places where Planned Parenthood can get taxpayer money. Along with the prices for the brutal killing of the smallest and most vulnerable members of society, they receive monies for so-called sex education and for community ‘clinics’. Medicaid pays for some abortions in some states, but they may also get money directly from taxpayers in the budget process.
This article was in the local paper, with no mention of abortion in the budget. Democrats claim to want to care for people. Too often it seems they are simply enacting policy that will foster more dependance on, and thus more power to the government.
NH State Budget has historically had a prohibition on directly funding abortion, but that may soon change. HB2 would increase funding to Planned Parenthood, according to New Hampshire Right to Life. Our Governor voted to fund Planned Parenthood when he sat on the Executive Council, the second highest elected seat in NH government. What will he do with the budget this go’round?

Maybe we can all get together and help lawmakers know that we do not want one dime to go to abortionists from our tax dollars. New Hampshire Cornerstone has a write up here.
Abortion vendors, like Planned Parenthood, can use money that is specifically designated to fund activities, other than abortion in ways that still benefit the abortion industry. Activities like advertising or ‘outreach’ it’s called fungibility.

Abortion is Shrouded in Mystery in NH
NH has been one of the riskiest places to be a baby in the womb in the country for a long time. Parental notification is virtually the only ‘safeguard’ and yet, there is a judicial bypass, even for that.
Abortion is not healthcare. The abortion vendors in our state are unlicensed with less oversight than Burger King. We do not even chart anonymous statistics to know what’s going on in terms of demographics or numbers of abortions or the stages of development that these little ones are at when they are killed. Abortionists are not required to have admitting privileges to hospitals when complications occur. Out-of-state abortionists are often the ones doing the abortions in NH, according to witnesses. So they don’t even get to know NH’s women before the procedure and have limited ability to follow up after. NH does not require a standard “right to know” prior to abortion. Rather they are entirely self-regulating. This is preposterous. Every other stand-alone surgical facility has multiple layers of safety standards and regulatory oversight.
I have been witness to the lies and misinformation surrounding abortion in the NH House and Senate for many years. We worked hard to get a “Women’s Right to Know” bill through a number of times. Women who’d had abortions came and testified. One after another they shared about how they didn’t have the information to make a reasonable decision. They were summarily dismissed.
Lawmakers Refuse Logic Around Abortion
Not all lawmakers refuse to acknowledge that a baby is killed in abortion. Many good men and women recognize that the state has a vested interest in protecting those children, the very posterity of our citizenry.
For those that support abortion, all logic goes out the window and the more preposterous the lies, the more adamant they get. I’ve been to hearings wherein a doctor will tell the committee that, “No late term abortions are happening in the state, or I would know about it.” When asked, “How would you know?” the man said, “I just would.” Ridiculous!
We are relying on people who kill the smallest and most vulnerable members of society for money to be self-policing. How absurd is that?
May God be the Judge Between US
I hope and pray that we would stop funding abortion. They do not need our tax dollars. Planned Parenthood is expert at selling sex and death to this generation. They make billions of dollars in their murderous business every year.
Let us do what we can to let lawmakers and policy influencers know what abortion is and what it does. And let’s tell them that we don’t want to fund it. Instead give of your resources to pregnancy resource centers and churches that are doing their job of caring for the poor and needy, the fatherless and the widows.
